Christmas Baking

I think the best part of Christmas is the opportunity to express my creative side -- decorating the tree, decorating Thomas the Gingerbread Train, decorating sugar cookies. Actually, come to think of it, the gustatory enjoyment of my creative efforts would have to come in a close second. If you ask me, Santa's going to really enjoy the snacks after delivering our presents, even despite our lack of chimney!

Last week while mom was baking, we really got to sample a lot of fun treats. After noticing we've been pretty crazy wild lately, mom's cut back. Today, for instance, we didn't get to have any treats at all -- no cookies, no candy, no chocolate... nothing. Sad for our taste buds but guess what, we were much better behaved today. Dad says it's better for our teeth anyhow -- what a party-pooping dentist he is!
